Monica, Smoochie, I heart art

"How to explian pictures to a live K9"

Before coming to the Art Institute, Monica spent the past six years in Ann Arbor, Michigan where she has journeyed on the University of Michigan’s “timeline to completion,” for the six year Ph.D. program in the History of Art department.  Currently Monica is busy researching and writing a dissertation on three contemporary figuartive sculptors: Duane Hanson, Robert Gober, and Ron Mueck.  A dissertation involves intense concentration on a minuscule slice of information that is but a speck of dust in the genealogy of man, but for one graduate student, such as Monica, a decade of fascination and frustration.
